2026, January 16-18 will mark an exciting opportunity for SMK students to take part in a dynamic weekend hackathon focused on innovation, collaboration, and real business problem-solving. Starting on January 16 at 16:00 and ending on January 18 at 16:00, the event will bring together motivated students ready to turn ideas into practical solutions.
Throughout the hackathon, student teams will work on real challenges provided by the companies Roboshopas.lt and “Tvarumas”. The objective is to develop an innovative solution, business prototype, or creative project that responds to real-world needs, all within one intensive weekend.
Participation is open exclusively to SMK students. Teams must consist of at least three members, with no maximum size limit, and each team is required to include students from all three study programs: Programming and Multimedia, Marketing and Advertising Creation, and International Business. This interdisciplinary format encourages collaboration across different fields and strengthens both creative and analytical thinking.
During the entire weekend, teams will have access to SMK spaces, allowing them to work continuously, exchange ideas, and refine their projects. Participants will gain hands-on experience solving real business challenges, develop teamwork skills, and receive mentorship along the way.
The SMK Hackathon offers not only valuable practical experience but also the chance to compete for prizes awarded to the strongest teams. Students are invited to form their teams, register in advance, and become part of an event where creativity meets real business impact.
