Online study format

SMK online studies combine asynchronous and synchronous learning, providing students with the flexibility of online education while ensuring regular academic interaction, practical engagement and continuous support throughout the study process.

The majority of the study process is organised through asynchronous learning, allowing students to study at a convenient time and pace. Students can access digital learning materials, watch recorded lectures, analyse practical cases, complete individual and practical assignments, and independently work with additional learning resources.

Approximately 20–30% of the study process consists of synchronous online learning, which takes place live in real time. During live sessions, students can communicate directly with lecturers and classmates, ask questions, discuss practical or technical challenges, participate in teamwork and receive immediate feedback.

Where appropriate, lectures, seminars and other study activities may also be recorded, giving students the opportunity to revisit the material afterwards and reinforce their learning.

Between scheduled live sessions, students can continue communicating with lecturers through the online learning environment, submit questions, receive consultations and access additional academic support.

This study model combines the flexibility of asynchronous learning with live academic and technical support, practical assignments, teamwork and continuous interaction with lecturers. It enables students to combine studies with work or other commitments while maintaining a structured, interactive and practice-oriented learning experience.
