SMK University of Applied Sciences has received an award for the initiative – youth movement “VibeLift” at the BMDA conference held in Riga. The award marks the successful implementation of VibeLift’s initiative and significant contribution to youth education. We are happy that the projects born at SMK become a tradition and create value for society as they grow every year. 

“VibeLift” is a youth movement initiated by SMK, which is celebrated every year by an impressive festival in the biggest arenas of Lithuania. This year, the festival gathered 6,000 pupils in the Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas. During this festival, event participants not only see the most popular music artists on stage, but also hear motivational speeches and discussions led and shared by famous and inspiring Lithuanian people. This is the largest youth festival in Lithuania.

This festival fosters the values of community, intended to show that each of us is the creator of our own success, and on the way to success, constant determination, courage, endurance and patience are important. The entire SMK community, teachers, students and partners actively contribute to the organization of this festival. The festival becomes an invaluable experience for SMK students, where they get to test themselves in various fields related to their respective fields of study.
