SMK presents new research on Cosmetic Procedures and Human Well-Being
Latest updates from SMK
A recent science study conducted by Austėja Diržaitė, a lecturer at SMK College of Applied Sciences, explores the effectiveness of non-injection redermalization cosmetic procedures in improving aging facial skin and enhancing human well-being.
Skin aging is more than a cosmetic concern – it can also lead to psychological stress and reduced self-confidence. With growing interest in maintaining youthful skin and the increasing demand for non-invasive aesthetic treatments, redermalization has emerged as a fast-growing anti-aging approach. This procedure relies on a combination of hyaluronic acid and succinic acid, which stimulate fibroblast activity, promote collagen synthesis, improve microcirculation, and support natural skin regeneration and tissue reconstruction.
The study focused on a detailed case analysis to evaluate how non-injection redermalization affects both skin condition and overall well-being. The results demonstrated noticeable improvements in the participant’s facial skin, including reduced dehydration, decreased wrinkle depth, and visibly healthier skin appearance. Beyond physical changes, the participant reported feeling more rested, positive, and satisfied with herself.
Importantly, the research also revealed broader psychosocial benefits. The participant experienced improved time management, greater ability to achieve personal goals, and better communication with colleagues, friends, and family. These findings suggest that non-injection redermalization may contribute not only to skin rejuvenation but also to enhanced emotional and social well-being.
Key Findings
• Improved skin hydration and reduced wrinkle depth
• Enhanced overall facial skin condition and appearance
• Increased feelings of positivity, restfulness, and self-satisfaction
• Better social interaction and communication
• Positive impact on personal productivity and goal achievement
This case-based research indicates that non-injection redermalization cosmetic procedures may have meaningful benefits for both aging skin and overall quality of life, supporting the growing role of non-invasive aesthetic science in modern well-being.
