We invite you to join the 2nd International Scientific Conference „SOCIETAL INTERACTIONS: RETHINKING MODERN ISSUES” organized by SMK University of Applied Social Sciences in partnership with Kazimieras Simonavicius University (KSU) and EUMMAS as a part of Erasmus+ International Staff Week.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Modern issues of global development have been intensified under the impact of global pandemics. The “new normal” requires rethinking forces of power, stakeholders, and approaches to modern issues. The scientific community, businesses, governments, and society at large need to establish interactions anew.

SMK University of Applied Social Sciences organizes this scientific conference to gather the academic communities of Lithuania and foreign countries, representatives of science and business to solve the problems of societal interactions and rethink modern issues.

AIM OF THE CONFERENCE is to share scientific advances, novelty, and research findings on topics within the following work themes:

• Creative economy
• Wealth, health, and wellness trends
• Transition to a green economy
• Communication in the digital age
• Educational innovations for human development

Registration

REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESENTATIONS AND PUBLICATIONS

Requirements for presentations: the PowerPoint presentations should include research topicality/importance and research problem, research aim, research methodology, research data and results, research conclusions. The duration of the presentation should not exceed 10 minutes.

Requirements for publications: the publications must be prepared according to the requirements for articles, the template can be found here.

All scientific articles will be published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal “Current Issues of Business and Law“ indexed in the EBSCO Publishing database.

All publications in health sciences could be published in a scientific peer-reviewed journal “Science and Processes of Education” indexed in the EBSCO Publishing database. The requirements are the same as for the previous journal.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ORAL PRESENTATIONS AT THE CONFERENCE:

• The duration of the presentation should not exceed 10 minutes.
• The languages of the Conference are English and Lithuanian.
• All presentations should include research topicality, research problem, research aim, research methods, research data and results, research conclusions.
