Cognizant company visit

On October 29th SMK 1st year students within their Management course with lecturer Diana Garlytska had a visit to Cognizant. The visit served as a practical introduction to the topic of "Operations Management". The students were introduced to the company, learnt about its operations and internship opportunities. Such practical first-hand experience served as a case study to further develop the knowledge of students in the class and build theoretical material of the topic referring it to actual real business.

Students were excited to have an interaction with company representatives from various departments and business units, the warm welcome of Cognizant employees and hospitable treats. Their positive feedback has highlighted the usefulness of such practical business visits and appreciation for getting real-life insights. Thus, the lecturer will surely continue such practice.
